this shouldn't take any modding. i have an old 360 elite, and the dashboard is like grey and well its just the old dashboard. i want to know if i can upgrade my system without having xbox live.

I just bought a 360 elite. I have it laying lengthwise so that both of the side vents have a couple inches of breathing room literally about two inches on the side It's sitting in a wooden cabinet and not on carpet. After a while playing, I notice that it gets rather warm with the air blowing out.Do I need an after market cooler to make sure it doesn't burn out on me? It was expensive and I'd like to make sure it lasts for the next set of years.Real answers only please. Thanks in advance.Do I need an after market

How could I sell my Xbox 360 elite for?
It has all of its cables and just one controller. I have 4 games with it. Call of Duty WAW, Halo 3, Marvel Alliance, Forza Motorsport. No scratches just some dust but I can always clean that up. I dont think ima use it in college.

I'm going to do it, im going to buy the elite from dell. Ive heard that by now they should have all jasper units, but have read that people are getting falcons.So unless anyone out there has info on whether or not the elites from dell are truly jaspers.... im going to assume they are and get one. Anyone have any last words of advice?

Xbox 360 elite 2 red light (Overheating) fixing?
I got my elite two years ago for X mas and its been fine until mid January this year where it would shut down randomly when playing games, then 2 red blinking lights will flash for about 5 mins.The internet says that its because of overheating, and I'm thinking that might be my problem, but when I called Microsoft to see if my warrenty was still void they said it expired in September of 2008.I have a few questions.1. Since my warrenty is void, can I break the Microsoft sticker and open it up myself to see what I can do without losing any chance of professional help other than Microsofts insane $100 repair cost?Example If I can't find fix the problem can I take it to a game store such as gamestop or w e place repairs even though the sticker has been broken?2. Would anyone know what might be causing the problems? I have a cousin that has dropped my xbox more than a couple times, so I'm thinking something got disconnected or broken like the fan or some wires.Any help would be amazing
Xbox 360 elite red ring of death?
i have an xbox 360 elite and this morning when i went to turn it on it gave me the rrod and i unlpugged it within about 5 seconds and tried it again... it gave me the rrod so i desided to unplug it and try to turn it on with the eject button and it worked. i have a 90 day warranty from target and the receipt and someone told me that i should take it in and have them exchange it for a new one idk if he knows what hes talking about before waiting and then if their is something wrong with it having to get it repaired for weeks through microsoft.its working fine now and i can power it up through the power button so i dont know if i should exchange it anyways?
