Personally, I would avoid Ebay and Craiglist if I was looking for a Elite, simply because there is no return policy and if you end up getting a reconditioned system or a returned system, you might not get the Microsoft warranty. If you buy a used system, it could be a home repair job from having 3 red rings from overheating or it could be a banned box, which means you won't be able to join Xbox Live with it, even if ownership has changed. Once a box is banned, it's done in terms of multiplaying. I would buy from an authorized seller only and one that had a good return policy, so you don't lose your money if you're not happy for any reason. Good luck trying to get a refund from some guy selling it himself online. Buy one new and you won't be buying someone's problems. The best deal I've found is on Amazon.com. Great return policy, you're 100% sure it's brand new and it comes with the factory warranty. No shipping and no tax, too. $399 out the door. amazon.com/ Xbox-360-Elite-System-Console-120GB/ dp/ B000OYMSL6/ ref= pd_bbs_6?ie= UTF8 &s= videogames &qid= 1225068476 &sr= 8-6 Is there a reason you want the Elite? The Pro model with the 60 gig hard drive has a christmas bundle for $100 less and comes with two cool games. Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda. The games are worth close to $100 by themselves if you were by they seperately. It's $299 on Amazon. |
