Question: Where can i trade a used xbox 360 elite with halo 3 for a ps3?

All my friends but one have a ps3, and he wants one but can't get it because his mom says he can't have both. he thinks nobody would buy his 360 for enough for a ps3, and has no cash. does anybody know where he could trade his xbox 360 elite with halo 3 for any brand new ps3? he has issues with used game consoles because he's gotten 2 that don't read disks before. how much would gamestop give? i heard you only get like 5 bucks a game from them. i was hoping for like a swapping website or something. turns out his family plays rockband so he can't sell it, and i've found multiple trustworthy deals on ebay for unopened 40gb ps3s for 250. our plan is to get a 40 gig and a big HDD to put in, to save him money. but he can't sell it, so ya.

Gamestop won't give you anywhere near enough money to buy a PS3. They might give you $150 for the 360 and $10 for Halo3. Even selling through eBay or Craigslist, a used 360 Elite is worth, $200-250, and Halo3 is another $25 (at best.) PS3 starts at $400.

Gamestop they dont check anything they give you the money right then and there i did it hope this helped
