Question: I just bought the new game of the year xbox 360 elite bundle with fable 2 and halo 3?

Now the person at gamestop told me that the email they received from microsoft is that all these have a jasper motherboard, but the manufacture date is 06- 05- 2008. Is he correct? and i looked at the stats and all that, its 175w, and it says 14, 2A, which leads me to believe its a falcon????help here please?????

I believe so. 1. You can trust Gamestop., and 2. You can't really trust manufacturers date to tell you this. So take Gamestop's word for it.

It doesn't really matter all that much. Just enjoy the 360 and deal with it if it RRoD when it happens.

I would not trust Gamestop to be right. They know enough about games but I have found them lacking in just about anything else. At least where I live. Also if is was the Jasper then it would have the power for the jasper chip and not the one for the falcon. If you have the falcon power cords and they fit the system then you don't have a jasper system simple as that. They made it so that you could not use the old power cords on the new system because if you tried then the extra power would fry the system.
