Question: Does an xbox 360 elite need an after-market cooler to not burn out?

I just bought a 360 elite. I have it laying lengthwise so that both of the side vents have a couple inches of breathing room (literally about two inches on the side) It's sitting in a wooden cabinet and not on carpet. After a while playing, I notice that it gets rather warm with the air blowing out. Do I need an after market cooler to make sure it doesn't burn out on me? It was expensive and I'd like to make sure it lasts for the next set of years. Real answers only please. Thanks in advance. Do I need an after market |
