Question: Xbox 360 elite ac adapter won't fit? please help!!!?

So I just bought myself a refurbished Xbox 360 Elite. My xbox 360 ac adapter cable wont fit into the power input on the back of the xbox. A little piece in the input stops it's connection. Please Help.

There are two types of power adapters for xbox 360. One has a plastic tip and the other a metal tip. If you have the plastic it will only work on jasper consoles, but since you said it is not fitting I'm assuming it is not jasper. You need a metal 203w power adapter as they fit every xbox no matter what type of power adapter
